My Dying Bride

I'm a big fan of doom metal, and My Dying Bride is great. They're one of those bands like Death or Atheist which are musically great, but their bandname sucks.

It annoys me when people see My Dying Bride and think they're an emo band.

Other good gothic doom is Theatre of Tragedy, Lacrimas Profundere (old), Silentium, Draconian, Lake of Tears (good and bad albums) and Paradise Lost. And there's of course Katatonia, if you consider them gothic doom (some people do)

I'm not a huge fan of gothic doom, but I find those bands to be pretty decent.

awesome band... though most fans will disagree with me when i say this album, Trinity and Songs of Darkness.. are their best.
