My point precisely.

One drummer that comes to mind is Tommy Lee, Motley Crue. I was just listening to Dr. FeelGood and, Lee is just one of those hard hitting, driving drummers that you have to admire. I think he showed his personality through his talent and ability as a drummer, as well as he did with his personal life and the media. I always did like Motley Crue as a band in whole, but I never really cared for Vince Neals vocals that much. I always imagined them with a much more powerful lead vocalist than Neal.

Ginger Baker is definitely my favourite. He's one of the best (if not the best), in my opinion, and I love his sound and style. But Bonham is pretty mad as well. Love Steve Peregrin Took's use of bongos in Tyrannosaurus Rex and also like Maureen Tucker's unusual style in Velvet Underground. I also think Nick Mason and Charlie Watts did great things for their respective bands.

Ginger Baker never appealed to me maybe because Jack Bruce and Eric Clapton made him look bad.
