Metallica VS. Iron Maiden (Preference) (lyrics, bass, funk, punk)

They both had there ups and downs but I'll take the best Metallica over Maiden. The thing about Maiden albums is there's always a vocal performance that turns my stomach. Also, I don't want to take all credit away from Maiden, but I believe it was Rainbow from 76-78' that created Power Metal.

I'll choose Metallica as well, but only the old stuff.

Master of Puppets, One, and Enter The Sandman are some of my favorites.

Iron Maiden is good too, but idk I like Metallica more. Aces High is a good song though :P

Iron Maiden was a better band musically. How many hardcore bands do you hear now that have the double guitar riffing which was made popular by Maiden. Matter of Life and death is way better then anything Metallica has done recently.

So I would say Killers> Master of puppets. IMO.

hey man metallica is quite a definate favourite, orignally, Iron Maiden is too a fav but i was introduced to them through metallica....i think they are both quite decent bands both quite talented and widely loved, but maybe iron maiden is a better band regardless of how i feel because i don't here as many people say they hate iron maiden then they do metallica....

Fairly split but I went with Metallica because they have more songs that I enjoy. But Iron Maiden is most defintely a metal staple.
