Metallica are sellouts?? Hows that?? Metallica has satyed true to their music for years never once changing for anyone....like when S&M came out....everyone thought it was so "soft" and not like Metallica...but hey, they liked it...they thought it sounded good....they didnt care if they lost some fans...cuz if you were a true tallica fan..you were there supportin them no matter what road the decided to take....so get off ur high horse...and maybe take a look at things in a different way... |

Theres nothing wrong with selling out. The real problem is when you got nothing to sell.

It's not like they've made anything worth mentioning in a while.

Exactdumoundo. I wish people would talk about that more often than they talk about them suppossedly selling out.

Now, I am a 'tr00' fan of every band I like, but when they do something like this, its natural to criticise them, instead of being a blind fan and saying they have never released anything bad, etc., etc. Even if I bash them, I will still be getting their next album. |

Idk, i think it maybe is because...well ive never met the band per say, but this guy that lives in my town knows them. He's been friends with James for a long time. I know so much about Metallica. I totally agree with you. In my eyes, St. Anger isnt necassarily "bad," like you guys said its just totally different. A new sound. And the new sound wasnt the greatest. It just unusual. But lets hope for better late summer early fall, with their new release with ROB TRUJILLO as the new bassist...
