Metallica VS. Iron Maiden (Preference) (genre, albums, classic, quote)

The first couple of Metallica albums were fantastic, so I went with them.

I went with Metallica simply because I love all but one of their albums.
And because after seeing them perform songs from St. Anger I gained a new found appreciation for it even though I still don't really like it as much as their old stuff.

I have always really liked Metallica, but haven't gotten interested as much in Iron Maiden, Metallica just appeals more to me.

I would have to say Metallica. I dont hate Iron Maiden its just prefer the songs by Metallica.

Both are pretty irritating but I'd pick maiden. They have more solid songs.

Yeah, metallica tend to write songs like houses of cards, or gaseous cloud formations.

Iron Maiden uses concrete.

Exactly. Or marble. That holds pretty well. Metallica songs are like jello.

This was hell. There were no demons, no hellfire or brimstone, just a deep, complete feeling of darkness and hopelessness. This was the never-ending void. Not at all how I had imagined it, but worse than I thought that it could have been.
