id have to say that metallica is my favorite in this one just because of the bass playing, and the fact that their drummer was the first drummer (in my opinion) to use double bass pedals for their intended purpose, instead of using them for a cheap fill like alot of the metal/hardcore bands of these days.

But look what happened to Metallica when Cliff died. His role in writing and arranging music was huge.
