Of course they'll keep going. What can any of the band members do other than play in a band? If the band breaks up now they'll probably go on to illustrious careers as dishwashers and burger flippers.

I did tell you Batty, that the new Slayer song was boring. Why did you listen to it if you had me, and Plankton say there's no point hearing it? Curiosity overwhelms you.

Meh, I don't even care if they do break up, never been a fan. Tom has one of the most boring vocals ever, nothing to them. But that's one reason people like Slayer, Tom is different I guess.

He just had such fire and malevolence in his voice before Divine Intervention. Then his voice started going out and all he could do was a scream that, while being good for what it was, just didn't have the same personality of the past.

it saddens me to hear what Slayer have become.

they just aren't as good as they were before.

that said, this is probably to be expected since Jeff died and Dave left/was fired.

Same as any other group of their stature really.

Not many people have my belief in this respect, but I believe that most bands have a lifeline, because when they start to slide downhill with inferior albums, multiple line-up changes and dubious musical decisions it's really the beginning of the end.

I've tried to get into thrash a lot of time but seems it's not my type of music. I began with Metallica, I liked a few songs of 'em but I realized there was something missing then I moved on and tried out something else like Megadeth, same thing happened and even worse. The last band I tested out was Slayer and guess what I liked them more than the other bands xD but their lyrics were kind of scaring even though after digging into it deeper I realized they aren't satanic, nazi or anything like that, they just like to pick up that view, that perspective of seeing things in life.

I wish I could enjoy listening to this genre as many people do, I know I'm missing plenty of legendary songs.

I got your Nazis, right here. And yes, all of these bands are dead serious.

Not a metal band, but if you want some Nazi punk...
