Albums to be called "Whatever They Say I Am, That Im Not", which is a tad cring-ay indeed... Im worried that whats made them will actually cripple them in the end though. How can they make a world-class original album out of material that have the countries got bouncing around their I-Pods already? The natural cycle of the bands gonna be completely rushed, so that by mid- Summer people are gonna want a new material.
Or maybe I just think too much.

the album details are out and thankfully they're only keeping fake tales of san fran and i bet you ....( to my knowledge the only two songs that were available for download?)....on another note, scummy was utterly ruined for me by mtv2, never has a song been so overplayed....by the end of the holidays ( yes i'm a loser and i don't have a satellite dish here ) i was switching the programme when i saw it.....eekk!!

i don't really know, they are being over played.....i do hope they deliver...i'm definetly getting it....but like indie said, people are going to want new material by summer.....it was a bad choice to put out the singles before the album.....

do you mean it was a bad choice to put out "i bet you.." and "scummy" as singles before the album release.......why was it a bad choice???!!! And do you think the band meant for the songs to go online months before the release? at their first gigs they would give out around 20 disks containing demo's per show, fans took these demo's and copied them onto the net- it wasnt the bands choice. with that said i do not think it will affect sales or opinions at all as the songs have apparently been completely re-recorded and altered. plus theres at least 5 out of the 14 songs that have never been heard. |

1. The View From The Afternoon
2. I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor 3. Fake Tales Of San Francisco 4. Dancing Shoes 5. You Probably Couldn’t See For The Lights But You Were Looking Straight At Me 6. Still Take You Home 7. Riot Van 8. Red Light Indicates Doors Are Secured 9. Mardy Bum 10. Perhaps Vampires Is A Bit Strong But.. 11. When The Sun Goes Down 12. From The Ritz To The Rubble 13. A Certain Romance the songs in bold i've already heard, the songs in italic have been available for download, and if i'm not mistaken on their official web site, so it was intentional, and i swear to god, when i looked at the track listing a few weeks back, i only saw 2.....i must be going crazy. so only 5 new songs?! now that's just plum lazy. this is so not a good thing.....i've practically heard the entire album!!....they should have recorded new material, not just re-record stuff they've been playing for a year now......this is not good....

so you've heard just under half, but do you like what you've heard? if so there shouldnt be a problem. all the songs already heard were demo versions, and we all know demo's arent the finished article. you may be surprised at some changes. plus the album is quite long at 14 songs, you've heard what 6? thats still 8 new songs, 8 songs can be an entire album. lol i sound like their PR, but still, roll on monday.
