It has the same riff. Maybe they decided to go with this song instead of R U Mine?

The album will be available on CD, Vinyl, special edition vinyl and via digital download. You can pre-order 'AM' via Arctic Monkeys Store or Domino Mart. Tracklisting for 'AM' is as follows: 1. Do I Wanna Know? 2. R U Mine? 3. One For The Road 4. Arabella 5. I Want It All 6. No. 1 Party Anthem 7. Mad Sounds 8. Fireside 9. Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High? 10. Snap Out Of It 11. Knee Socks 12. I Wanna Be Yours From the band's official site. |

Loved their first albums but adore their last two albums Humbug and SIAS probably my favourite albums of the past few years. Love that stoner rock sound Josh Homme got for Humbug and it was a real departure from their British indie sound. SIAS has that feel of an old British indie record from the 80's mixed with a bit of the darkness of Humbug. Really good album that's sadly overlooked by many. R U Mine and Do I want to Know plus Mad Sounds are great signs for what this new Album AM5 is headed.
Did anyone catch their headline set at Glastonbury taught they were brilliant apart from Turner probably trying to hard to be Elvis style frontman. They knocked out a great performance and along with Primal Scream and The Stypres the best performance of the Festival. |
