everyone has been saying they are the new Radiohead or something but i think their music is terrible.

No one has been saying that they are the new Radiohead. And if, by some small chance, they have been saying that then they are very stupid people. Not a patch on Radiohead but I still like them.

arctic monkeys are awesome. pretty much their whole cd rocks. Their accent kinda pisses me off but that doesn't matter cause their songs are rly catchy. fav. song = when the sun goes down or red light indicates lights are secure.

i practically had an entire media lesson on this band the other day.
wasnt too much fun.
they made it sound like they were all geniuses because they put their music up for downloading & got themselves known.
erm, yeah, cause other bands dont do that?

My friend says his voice is 'wacky', and i have to agree.

i just watched a video by them on MuchMuisc, it seemed to be a concert type video, either way it never did them any good. I don't think this band should be in the video's... like why even bother making videos.. there doing really well without making any before.. grr.. that video really sucked.

I just can't get into these guys. Don't see what makes them so good.

I like their album but really like is as far as it goes. They write catchy, poppy, and just fun plain songs. For me to consider myself a fan their next album has differ a lot from Whatever People Say I am That's What I'm Not. They pretty much have to pull a Radiohead.

A guy I work with (he's from Great Britain) says they are the best band in the last five years. How accurate is that? I'm not knowledgable at all about this.

He did, hiwever, burn a copy of a cd of theirs, and I gave it a listen. Where are they from? Because, I'll tell you, I can hear a lot of R.E.M. and the B52s eminating from their stuff. It's obvious they were into that Georgia based stuff.
