I say Zappa, because Everything that his albums meant was intentional, Sex pistols, not so much

i got nothing against hippies - i probably classify as one myself, but i still love were only in it for the money - it was the first album i ever bought, ever and i love it.

if you listen to the lyrics, money is definitely kicking the hippie population more than bollocks

bollocks is more anti establishment and government than anti hippy

Yeah, thank you phish food, this was supposed to be a debate, not my personal mission. The title was indicative of the subject matter not my own opinion.

I like real hippies, the neo-psuedo-hippies that worship DMB and John Mayer and talk about **** they've been told, not that they know, really piss me off.

But this has nothing to do with them. The question was which was a better hippy culture broadside, which was more effective at striking the flow power jugular.

Please ignore the early morons who didn't read, and the later idiots who went with the flow.

Also, The Sex Pistols are not rock or metal. But the sex pistols are more rock than zappa is punk.
