To be honest both linkin park and limp bizkit are really just rap music with a bit of screaming,oh and theres drums and guitar as well, I don't know why people even class them as metal.

lp's not metal. lb is "rap metal" or sumthin dumb like that. the whole genre is crap.

i hate when people call an entire genre crap. in my opinion, any genre or sub-genre can be brilliant, IF DONE RIGHT. lb and lp are crap though.

Who cares? I agree with all of you, yet subtly disagree too.

Maybe we should create a new genre - crap metal. All of the crap music can be instantly put into that box and we don't need to talk about it again until somebody asks 'which crap metal bands do you like?'.

instead of these sh*T bands being serious and thinking theyre "tough" and "thuggish"
they can embrace the plastic gangster-ness and it will become an art form

Metal laced with irony? Don't know if I'd be able to stand that. Uni student's would start wearing their t-shirts and putting up posters of them, just to show how much they get the irony.
