The reason i didn't add cash is because its a rock list and i consider cash country, though cash has also been classified as a rock n roll artist so he possibly could qualify, i will also consider the others you mentioned, anyone else you think i should add?

Are you kidding? A lot of Funkadelic`s stuff would put some psychadelia bands to shame.Check out their Maggot Brain album , thats a lot more rock than funk.
