Rammstein stopped fascinating me around Mutter.

Reise, Reise is not terrible, but doesn't hold a candle to either Herzeleid or Sehnsucht.

Yeah I like their older stuff better as well. I don't listen to them much for recreation but I would love to see them live.

I agree with you. After waiting 4 years for a new album Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da was a complete letdown. For me there's only 3 tracks on it that are good, the rest is just filler.

Default Rammstein - Liebe ist für alle da

Who here has listened to Rammstein?? If you haven't I highly suggest it, they have awesome musical talent and take metal to a whole new level. Most of there lyrics are in German, but its the sound and the feel to their music that make it so awesome.

I just bought their album Liebe ist für alle da but just began listening to them. If anyone has listened to them post what you like about them, we would like to hear, also I wanna know how awesome they are live!

Yes, they are good live and make a great show. Flamethrower gauntlets, wings, moving platforms, etc. Not a band I would switch to on my iPod too often though.

Default Rammstein?

Doesn't appear to be a Rammstein thread. What are your thoughts on them? They're the only metal I can listen to happily. The amazing intensity they can achieve whilst still maintaining sane levels of screaming and powerchords is fairly impressive. Even though I can't understand what Till Lindemann is saying.

i only really love "Herzeleid" and "Sehnsucht"

the ones from "Mutter" onwards are pretty patchy, some high notes with extremely low ones

there are translations of varying accuracy on the Net, of their lyrics

me, I bought a German-English dictionary to do the translation myself

I get my 60 year old German math teacher to translate much of it.

My favourite album was Reise, Reise, Amerika is extremely catchy, and Mein Teil is probably my favourite metal song.
