I can only think of two songs where they say their own name.

I have a problem with their singer. He reminds me of the German queer in "My Private Idaho", who lip syncs into a hotel lamp shade before he hits on Keenu Reeves and River Phoenix...and I don't mean this as an afront to homosexuals, or fans of Rammstein. I just have a hard time with the singer.

I take it you're talking about the song Rammstein on Herzeleid? I think we can let them off there. And yeah, it is a great song despite the lack of lyrical content.

Personally, they're my favourite band. I can't live without them and while that sounds a bit cheesy, I listen to them everyday, their music is so powerful and the lyrics are absolutely beautiful. With typical metal bands, you just get screaming and lyrics about hating yourself (in my opinion anyway), but with Rammstein, their lyrics are so meaningful and they really expose things that people would rather hide away. I love them.
And the world tour soon with a new album?! Can't ****ing wait.

What do you mean by 'in my opinion'? This isn't subjective at all. There are whole subgenres of metal which don't use screaming vocals. And I don't know where you pulled the self-hatred thing from.

I like a couple of tracks from Sehnsucht but their music is pretty derivative TBH.

Nah I just meant with some metal bands, cuz I myself am a huge metal fan. There's just some bands I don't like. I didn't mean to sound like I was bashing it or anything
