One Drop! What Reggae Are You Listening To Now?
https://fastnbulbous.com/wp-content/...ite-reggae.jpg
Cool & Calm Israel Vibration (1981, Fontana/Sanctuary) It's from one of my favorite Roots albums, Strength of My Life. What reggae sounds are in your system? |
Crazy Baldhead Bob Marley & The Wailers Like the sound quality on this one. |
Babylon Rule Dem Groundation One of the most irie tracks ever laid (imo). Hebron Gate, the lp from which comes, isn't a bad album either. |
Jerusalem Alpha Blondy Title track from one of Alpha Blondy's best albums. |
Spear Burning (Live '99) Burning Spear Always pumps me up. Saw Winston and his band do it live in Philly (can't remember the year but, man, this track got everybody up). |
Welcome To Jamrock Damian Marley (title track) Damian pretty much eclipsed all the other Marley kids' albums with this one. Still sounds great. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/zj8AA...JPT/s-l640.jpg |
No Letting Go Wayne Wonder |
Stir It Up The Wailers on The Bob Harris Old Grey Whistle Test 1973 Still one of my favorite musical clips. And I still say Bob was best with the original Wailers at his side. :) |
You Don't Love Me Dawn Penn |
Funky Kingston Toots (R.I.P.) & The Maytals |
love's contagious tarrus riley |
Farover Burning Spear (1982, Tuff Gong) Light up. One of the best lps from the Burning Spear. |
Raggamuffin (live in studio) Raging Fyah |

Always loved Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers' 'Feelin' Irie' intro. When they came on stage with it in Central Park back in the very early 90s it lit the place up.
justice w/damian marley (2000, pompano beach, florida) earlier this year... |
