It probably is (I'm actually not all that keen on Aswad really - they're a little too cheesy for me in places). Never heard the original though

Have you heard Aswads debut album of the same name? People don't realise how long they have been around. The debut is from '76 and is damn fine roots Reggae. Much better than their smoother pop tinged mid 80's output.

Cheers for that. You're right as well, it's definitely better

I know Aswad were around in the 70s, all I've got though is 'Don't Turn Around', which I presume is from the 80s (can't remember for sure). I'll go look around their debut - thanks for the heads-up

Yeah it's circa '88 I think. If you can't find the debut just PM me.

Just thought I'd say I've listening to Aswad's 'Don't Turn Around' again and it's actually not that bad. I love this song in particular;

I found their debut as well. I haven't quite listened to it enough to pick out individual tracks but you're right, it's a great album
