Is anyone else into this sub genre?
I think reggae and country fit well together, & there are a huge number of great reggae versions of country songs done over the years. "Reggae's Gone Country" & the "Trojan Country Reggae Box Set" are two good collections. And then, of more recent vintage, there is this

Yep, I agree.
The current trend in Nashville is mixing country with hip hop. Reggae is a much better match, IMO
