Default Gentleman

Hey there!

Does anyone know Gentleman??

Here in Germany, he is the local Reggae Hero.

I know, he is a white guy with a very embarassing name (Tillmann Otto) but he makes the best roots reggae I listened to these days.

You should check out his album 'Confidence', especially Superior was a great single.

Besides, the concerts of Gentleman and the Far East Band are the best I ever visited.

Every time one is over, I am looking forward to the next one...

I'm not surprised

But he's in a way half-Jamaican.

I mean, he has many collaborations with famous Reggae Artists like Anthony B., Jack Radics and so many more.

If they accept, maybe you also could...

But no matter, it's your opinion.

Maybe embarrassing was the wrong expression.

I thought, that particularly the non-german people would call it embarrassing, so I wanted to anticipate or...

Don't ask me.

The name sounds weird, even for me. Especially for a reggae artist.

That's all...

Why do I feel the urge to fall on my knees and apologize??

well here's the thing people. maybe if we took a little time to listen what the man is actually singing...or for some of you...understand what he is singing then we can talk. Regardless of the man colour, nationality, name...whatever, he brings forth the word of jah. which you can tell most atrists these days don't dare to do. He sings very well, the far east band is top notch. Maybe if we all took some time and actually listen to him instead of passing judgement based on prejudicial factors we might ALLOW ourselves to be inspired. Reaggae is not only music, reaggae is freedom.

Although this Brother white I think him earn his stripes. I heard he was n Jamaica for a good while trying to get the reggae vibes and flavour. I need to hear more of his music in JA though.
