new track, not exactly conventional reggae, but some pretty catchy dancehall. sure it's been done a million times, but not bad and in some ways isn't too far a stretch from what he was doing in his later hip-hop stages however it's pretty infectious.

I completely disagree-- Snoop Lion's broke ass version of reggae sucks more than anything that has ever sucked before. His reggae is a straight up bastardized version - I heard another one of his songs the other day and it was the worst one yet. People who are interested in listening to or learning about reggae need to listen to some artists like Scratch Perry, Dennis Brown, Peter Tosh, or Burning Spear to name a few if they are interested in roots reggae.

I can't really get into Snoop Lion at all. It feels way to forced. I dont blame the guy for wanting to try something new, but I dont think he should have dropped everything and totally re-invented himself like this: especially this late in the game. The music isn't bad but his voice and delivery don't really fit; it sounds really cheesy.

My advice to Snoop, go back to doing what you know.

Given all of his other eccentricities it would come as no surprise to find out that he performed fellatio on a multitude of pack animals, but that's neither here nor there. I think the Pulitzer is out. The best you you might get for that one sentence is a shiny gold star, which are hard to come by in this our technocratic age, so don't knock em'.
