The Return of No Doubt
Surprised nobody has mentioned this yet. What does everyone think of their new single?

Oh yeah! I forgot all about their comeback. My first impression is mixed, but maybe a bit toward the positive end of things. They sound like, well, No Doubt gone 2012. True to their sound and style, and definitely compatible with the big hits of today; maybe a bit like Madonna's new material with a reggae-style bent (a bit M.I.A.-ish, too, perhaps).
The bottom line for me is that it doesn't grab my interest or attention like some of their other stuff, but it's not bad I guess. I was just hoping for more of an impact. |

Sad to say but so far I only like their two singles Settle Down and Push and Shove from the album so far. Its funny how their recent video was pulled , I think the whole bands career has been famous for taking sounds from other cultures and making it their own.
