Ska-core...

Adequate 7, No Comply, Howards Alias all awsoem bands ..BUT ...Im confuzzled..is ska core actually a branch of ska..or just rock/metal with trumpets ... :)

Ska-core was originally a self-appointed title for The Mighty Mighty Bosstones Style of hardcore/punk inflected Ska (i.e. Ska-Core, The Devil and More) A lot of bands have adopted that term for their music, but whether or not its a legitamate sub-genre of ska really depends on who you ask. A lot of purists don't see Third Wave (the era of ska which all the bands you mentioned fall under) as being ska at all, but then again its your world, and hey.....metal with trumpets is cool.
