If you like the Sublime style then I HIGHLY suggest checking out The Pier Summer Sampler. Surf Trip Music: VA - The Pier Summer Sampler

Genre: Reggae/Rock
Year: 2008

Track List
----------------------------------------------
01. Chapter 11 - House Party Tonight
02. Ballyhoo! - Alcohol Looks Beautiful Toni
03. The Movement - Sweet Summertime
04. OPM - Tell Me What You Want
05. John Browns Body - Give Yourself Over
06. One Drop - One More Night
07. Another Day - Strange Days
08. 880 South - Goin South
09. Can't Hang - The Way-ay-ay
10. Close Enough - Under The Pier
11. Mystic Roots Band - Blessings
12. Three Legged Fox - Maybe I'm Sorry
13. The Holdup - One Day
14. Drum Major Instinct - Back To The Sun
15. Stick Figure - Hawaii Song
16. 86 the Effort - Be Strong
17. The Bredrin Daddys - Holding Me Back
18. Lionize - Remedy
19. Live@Subs - The Game
20. Del Mar - Blue Room

It's a Gem that my buddy back in High school found on Myspace. He sent it to me and I downloaded it. A lot of the bands are one-hit wonders who's best song is the track on the sampler but Ballyhoo, One Drop, and Three Legged Fox are three great bands I discovered from this album.

Wow completely forgot about these guys, I loved this song. Its actually the only one I know outta them. One hit wonders maybe? Guess I'll have to give them another look.

Also liked the Barrington Levy.

But digging this song so much right now. Although its REALLY long. Maybe too long, but still love it. Love that 70s reggae mon.

Default Looking for some new artists to check out!

So I've been wanting to expand my reggae collection.
To get a sense of what I might like, some of the artists I listen to right now are of course the classics like Bob/Damian/Stephen Marley, Alborosie, Sister Nancy..etc. Also enjoy listening to hip-hop/reggae stuff like P Money, Agent Sasco. So if you've got any suggestions throw em my way! Even if you're not sure if I'll like it or not, I just enjoy listening to new music.
