Is less than jake consdered a ska band?
 

i really think they are, everyone is doubting it because they are too "mainstream" i think they are as ska as reel big fish

Saying as ska as Reel Big Fish is akin to saying as punk as Green Day.

A billion teenagers are now crushed upon realising that Green Day are not a punk band :D

They used to be, though :( Kerplunk and 39/Smooth were good, and EVERYONE owned Dookie at some point.....

I'd say they're more ska/pop-punk.

Also, while I like a lot of their music, I saw them at Warped Tour (kill me) and they did seem like total jerks. The music was fun, though.

I'd say they're more of an awful band, but they do fit into that awful and miscalculated paradigm of the modern 'ska band'.

they only veered away from Ska Punk in Anthem and In With The Out Crowd. All the other albums are basically ska punk/pop punk.

I am not a racist, but I lump reel big fish (a band I love btw), less than jake, and mustard plug into a category called "White Ska"
