Regardless, he died. The whole band didn't die. If they still feel like making music together, then more power to them! It probably will not be another 'sublime' with a cult following, but its ridiculous to think that all of their music died, just because Bradley did.

Agreed. Rome sounds terrible in my opinion. I never was a big Sublime fan but I still think Bradley was a good singer. The acoustic version of Pool Shark is a song of theirs that speaks to me and it was totally driven by him. This Rome guy is not good.

Rome is an OK vocalist. I'd rather see this line-up of "Sublime" perform than Badfish, at least it is somewhat authentic. I agree that Brad can never be replaced though.
Maybe they should have called themselves Subliminal? lol |

it was my belief that a band was usually supposed to end if the frontman died, instead of replacing him

So not really knowing much Sublime beforehand I decided to listen to the original version of Saw Red and srsly, whut?
The mood, the pace, the rhythm are completely different. Rome's version is a massively toned down pop-appeal version. Not especially bad in and of itself but the idea they this new group call themselves Sublime (former band members or not) is massively misleading when they're presenting for a completely different genre with a completely different image.
