As for the Marleys, I'm not their biggest fan, but they have done some great albums - Bob's Exodus and Damian's aforementioned Welcome To Jamrock for instance. |
So far I've seen Ziggy, Stephen, Damien, and Julian. Ky-Mani was supposed to play a show at Reggae on the River, but that's a long story. I thought Damien put on the best show by far, especially when he brought Charlie Tuna out during his encore. Ziggy put on a very inspiring, fun-in-the-sun, and outright happy show. Stephen reminds me a lot of Bob footage that I've seen, though he the other three Marley's that I saw played at least a couple tunes of their father's. Julian was pretty jazzy and Damian just rocked it hot and heavy-style.

Ziggy's my second favorite Marley for sure. One Good Spliff...nuff said

I have recently been in a reggae phase and have been listing to a lot of Stephen Marley's Mind Control(acoustic version) He is my second favorite Marley next to Bob of course. Then I would say Ziggy and lastly Damien only because some of his stuff has to much of that rap/hip-hip mix.

Please do not post in all-caps anymore.

I saw Damien Marley headlining the Jazz world stage at Glasto a few years back now.
He really was excellent although I still hate myself for not finding the time to go and see the brothers performing exodus. Im pretty sure that would have been quite special. |
One Love!!
