Default Aussie SkaPunk

Anything, ANYTHING by The Porkers, the most badass Ska band to grace Australia! Maybe Area7, or Dr Octopus.

Out of Nowhere - Hepcat
But I'm not exactly sure I'd want my only CD to be ska. Could I have 8-tracks of KC and the Sunshine Band, or is that breaking the rule?

I'm a part time live sound engineer, and one time (at band camp) I was running the monitors for the pietasters at this 3 day musicfest. They were headlining the power went completely kerplop kerplooee so we all sat on the stage and drank Budweiser out of the cooler that they brought on stage with them for about an hour and a half until they figured out the problem. The crowd was pissed, but the generator s**t the bucket so there was nothing we could do til they brought a new one. It was one of the most memorable experiences I've evr had, and the band are all really fun cats!

It seems Iv'e had a lot of weird experiences w' ska bands now that I think about it, but One really funny/disturbing experience was at house party in Boston where ****ie Barrett showed up completely wasted and, when he realized that no one was really paying attention to him, started screaming "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? I'M ****IE BARRETT OF THE MOTHERF**KIN' MIGHTY BOSSTONES !!! F**K YOU LAME-A** MOTHERF**KERS " about three times and then walked out the door and curled up in the fetal position in the front lawn and started wretching his guts out. I don't know how long he stayed there, but apparently in the old days it wasn't uncommon for ****ie to show up at parties and start being "That Guy". He's actually pretty famous for it from what I understand.
