This guy is great...I cannot keep his "Rids the World of the Evil Vampires" album off of my iPod...anyone else a fan? His back-catalog is HUGE....

jackhammer 10-28-2007 02:25 PM

I have'nt got that album, nudge nudge wink wink! I have WINS THE WORLD CUP and a couple of MEETS THE MAD PROFESSOR albums too. You cannot beat some chilled dub.

fleasbaby 10-28-2007 03:29 PM

LOL...I noticed you had changed your signature...what's up with that? I also saw some folks complaining about "losing posts" because of sharing?

Lets see what we can do about your lack of scientific experience :).

jackhammer 10-28-2007 06:25 PM

My sig is Ironic lol. PM is your friend.

fleasbaby 10-28-2007 08:38 PM

Nice....if anyone else is following along, I highly recommend "Scientist Dubs Culture into a Parallel Universe"...my favorite roots reggae band twisted into dub oblivion by my favorite dub artist.

This cat is excellent.
Show him some love.

jackhammer 01-05-2009 04:43 AM

Merged. An absolutely exhaustive back catalogue. I think I have 5 releases. Barely scratched the surface TBH.

FireInCairo 01-05-2009 04:46 AM

I've only got a couple but it's killer stuff.
The search function doesn't work too well does it, i tried the search...scored nothing.

jackhammer 01-05-2009 04:51 AM

Yeah no worries. Took me a little time to find it too.

This is what I have:

Mad Professor Meets Scientist - Scientist Meets The Crazy Mad Professor At Channel One Studio
Mad Professor Meets Scientist - Mad Professor meets Scientist At The Dub Table
Scientist - Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires
Scientist - Heavy Metal Dub
Scientist - Scientist Wins the World Cup
Scientist - Dub in the Roots Tradition

FireInCairo 01-05-2009 04:55 AM

I've only got
Rids the world of the evil curse of the vampires
and a comp from a friend.

I have been promising fire in Cairo some albums as I have about 5. As soon as I get them upped then I will drop you a link.

Shut Up and Dance 08-04-2009 02:20 PM

I have Rids the World, Scientist and Jammy Strike Back, Meets the Space Invaders, and World at War. Rids the World is the strongest of these, but the track "Invasion of Iraq" from World at War is the best thing I've ever heard from him, and one of the all-time dub classics, as far as I'm concerned. The rest of that album is decent to great as well.

LuckyStrike 08-10-2009 07:21 AM

friggin love scientist ! get blazed listening to him all the time, such good vibes in his music ! anyone else get introduced to him by playing gta3 ? k-jah radio xD

DJB1975 08-17-2009 05:19 PM

Check his Wins The World Cup album, great cover art as well

khfreek 05-21-2010 10:10 AM

holy shit

I got Rids the World because Anteater recommended it, and was so shocked when Dance of the Vampires came on. I've already known and loved that song on the car radio in Grand Theft Auto III! I'm really digging the rest of the album too, I'm gonna get more

Jester 05-23-2010 09:36 AM

His split with King Tubby is very good.

Sneer 10-09-2010 10:37 AM

I've recently made a concerted effort to explore Dub further. I knew of Scientist before this, and ultimately he's still produced the best Dub I've heard thus far. Rids The World of Evil Vampires and Channel One Studio are the shit
