I love Less than Jake but you're right their alittle bit of punk alittle bit of ska in my opinion I guess. My oldest brother was into ska when he was in high school and being the youngest and only girl I remember stealing all his cds and listening to them, all my brothers liked ska at one point and one of them had an Aquabats cd, and I just found it again, has anyone listened to them?

i totally agree with prince burridge. i meen untill recently i did think that ska was just punk with horns untill i started getting into reggae and ska and listened to bands liek the skatalites and early wailers.
the slackers are currently my favorite ska band |

hmm well my list is pretty long
i love catch 22 n they are so good live... streetlight manifesto are amazing, technically accurate as well as just fun. then thers the 2nd wave stuff, like the specials, the madness, bad manners, the toaster, they're all great. hmmm n i can't forget Rx Bandits (going to see them in 14 days). n obviously less than jake, such a fine band. mad caddies are always good. n my fav band ever are sublime altho thats more reggae, but still deserves a mention of corse! ~~skakid-el~~ |
