Yes yes yes! Matisyahu is awesome, and he delivers a really great message, just like reggae music in general!

Matisyahu is fantastic, it just feels wierd listening to a style of music affiliated with one religious movement when its being sung in conjunction with another...still, I guess music transcends these things. The man is faultless when it comes to his output.

Had that, but lost it in the great iPod crash of 2006...*sigh*

Its alright...I liked his first studio album, live at Stubbs has some insane beatboxing I think (believe it or not)...

I know this is super old, but I was wondering about this guy, Matisyahu. I've only heard a few of his songs, namely "Youth" and "King Without a Crown". They were alright, but I have to admit I'm more intrigued with the whole Hasidic-Jew-doing-reggae thing...I mean, it's really not common at all. But then I wondered it he was for real, or if the whole thing was just a gimmick to get people interested. It worked on my afterall. What do y'all know about this guy? Do y'all like him? Do you have any song to recommend other than the two I mentioned?

The guy dropped out of school and followed Phish around the United States as a teenager... He was your typical post-Deadhead of sorts. He went up to some Jewish camp in Colorado and found God, and ever since then he has been pretty true to his religion.

His music is great, can't recommend anything though... sorry.

meh, I like em', as in I can't say anything bad about him. I grow tired of his music fairly quickly though. He did a great cover of The Police's Message in a Bottle.
