But if you come into hip hop discussions taking about this is the best **** ever you just might trigger my rage
They're not great for the reasons so many rap fans care about, they're great for their own unique reasons that require listening to them differently than you would Nas or Biggie. Many of the reasons they're great are honestly the criteria pop music is judged. I don't think they're the best rap group cause they're the best at doing rap, I think they're the best group who happens to be rap.

I think they're possibly the worst group to ever do rap

I figure you would be better at suggesting a song that exemplifies what you're saying than me picking one at random from Google.

fascist youth*

But tbh I've only heard them in a handful of occasions and they just always sounded bad to me. I could be missing something. In fact I probably am. But I think you just lack any actual appreciating for rap so coming in with some white boy band that isn't even really rap and touting them as the best is naturally gonna get under my skin.

Best song you've never heard that doesn't sound like what you probably think they sound like.

You're coming into a hip hop discussion with either zero knowledge of hip hop and hip hop history or zero knowledge of ICP.

As far as lyrical ability ICP are not far off from classic legends like Slick Rick. They take so much of their inspiration from that era of hip hop especially the grandiose gimmicks and story telling. The only difference being they are much more cartoony and goofy.

ICP have proven that they can use multisyllable rhyme schemes above amateur single syllable rhymes like a lot of 2Pac's music does.

ICP have adopted and switched flows drastically through out their career.

ICP also have a higher vocabulary than 2pac.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.
