I like Tupac. But he is corny. You can be good and corny at the same time even if you're too basic to understand the concept.

I don't think they're of comparable quality. I think ICP are far superior. Tupac is a decent rapper who excels at "rapping hard" but without the East/West Coast rivalry to bolster his popularity wouldn't have amounted to half what he did. ICP are a great pop group, brilliant at storytelling at least in their own way, have not simply one unique idea of a sound but several (even if inspired by other artists), and have personalities that meld to their ideas more creatively than Tupac. I think you just think Tupac goes hard tbh.

Eh. ICP are objectively terrible rappers with limited artistic range and yet with a producer with actual artistic range they melded their schtick appropriately to five more increasingly different interpretations of their sound over six albums. Tupac never did that. Almost no one in popular music ever did that.
