Eminem in his early years represented Hip Hop to the fullest he had balance in his messages and was innovative in his flow, choice of words and style, 50 is a mish mash of snoop, easy, cube, etc, etc, only difference is he's not sayin anything new, N.W.A were warning and telling you what happens when you oppress and forget a nation as was 2pac, which means you get contradiction as it's only human nature. 50 has no real balance or message other then as long as he talks about people and causes controversy he can move units, i've seen him live, he has no love for the artform or his supporters hence he rhymes over his own voice , does the same move over and over again, sounds nothing like his recorded voice and needs other people to help sing his songs on stage, as do most of these 'rappers.' Hip Hop is for the People, Rap is a corporate made machine.I love Hip Hop Artists, but Rappers? I **** on 'em!!!

M8, on the real, there is no need for direspect, if you have nothing of substance to say, don't say nothing at all.

maybe your right, if thats what rap is, then HELL i do not like rap.

But I'm of the belief that its not, or shouldnt be anyway.

and about TuPac, thats exactly my point. Hes re-doing whats already been done 1000 times over by everyother bigname rapper out there. If thats the road that rap is going down.. its going down.

he has been declared wanna the best rapper alive on MTV and VH1..

Eminem has broken records in selling so many in the first week.. weather you like him or not.. he is the only rapper who isn't rapping about cars, and bitches, unless his songs talking about killing his bitch.. lol.. his lyrics are so unqie, the flow he has.. he is the wanna the best, he has come to the rap table and laid down something new...

MTV and VH1 doesn't mean anything to me. They both just pick what's popular.

I'm not trying to hate on Em and say that he hasn't achieved a lot as a rapper -- he clearly has. However, just because he is successful and popular does not mean he is the best. There are many better MCs that are just not as popular.

1) I'm sorry but I just watched the 22 Greatest MC's on MTV2 today, and they had Nelly at 13 and DMX at 12, in front of KRS-ONE and Run-DMC. Now if you are telling me that MTV and VH1 are the authority on Rappers and MCs then fine, I'll just disregard all of your other statements.

2) Eminem is not the only rapper not rapping about "Cars and Bitches." Why dont you go cop that Masta Ace "Disposable Arts" (2001)? Why dont you go grab yourself a bootleg of Nas "God's Son" (2003)? Just because Eminem is the only one not rapping about cars and bitches on TRL doesnt mean he is the only one not rapping about those things. Open your mind, get some Mos Def, get some Talib Kweli, and answer back when you have educated yourself.
