The Black Album is pretty boring to be honest. It's catchy, but totally hollow and devoid of any real meaning.

What you just said could apply to the large percentage of his entire career.
I like it though and The Blueprint would be my favourite of the two mentioned in the original question.

anyway, maybe i posted in here a while ago but my vote goes to Reasonable Doubt, that's one of my top 5 or 10 favorite hip hop albums
