Jay Z
I've searched and no thread!
What do you guys think of him? Old Jay Z versus new? I personally still like his music but I think he's lost his fire in comparison to his earlier music. Everybody's got to know this song:

I prefer the new Jay-z a bit more. I like how you can tell that he is older and he likes to experiment a bit more musically. The production on his newer material is far above anything in the past.
I would say from Kingdom Come on is his best material. The peak of his old material is probably The Black Album but don't get me wrong I do like some of his older material. Well by old I mean from Blueprint forward. I haven't listened to anything of his older than Blueprint.

Jay -Z is one of my favourite rap artists. He's one of the richest celebrity couples with Beyonce as well. My fav song of his is 'New York' with Alicia Keys or his 'Forever Young' song with Mr Hudson.
