No thread yet? This guy is really, really talented. I can count this as a time I loved a reccomended artist more than the band that brought me there on Spotify.
His style is pretty unique and definitely crosses genre boundaries with kind of a hip hop/soulful base. I’d compare him to young fathers, but a little more toned down and lyrically thoughtful. I just love it. Quote:

I could've sworn that there was a thread but I guess I'm wrong. I'm a big fan of Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam but haven't really gotten into anything that he's released since then (though to be fair, I haven't given them a very fair shot).

heeeell yeah, he’s dope as ****. pretty sure frown and i have talked about him before but maybe it was in a different thread.
he has some of my favourite production in the uk scene.

Too bad I missed that conversation. Sounds like he's doing alright over there. Yes, the production is very very clean and everything flows so nicely, I'm for sure about it. I'll have to give dark days some attention.
