Ghostpoet

No thread yet? This guy is really, really talented. I can count this as a time I loved a reccomended artist more than the band that brought me there on Spotify.

His style is pretty unique and definitely crosses genre boundaries with kind of a hip hop/soulful base. I’d compare him to young fathers, but a little more toned down and lyrically thoughtful. I just love it.

On March 7th 2018, when challenged by one Fan via Twitter with the question "WHAT are you?", Ghostpoet came with the response: "So Interesting. Why is it so important for me to be part of a predetermined genre with its parameters and rules? I'm just an artist who experiments with sounds and loves guitars. It's ok to be confused, not everything in life needs explanation, sometimes we just have to go with it.

That accent tho. Mmm

I could've sworn that there was a thread but I guess I'm wrong. I'm a big fan of Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam but haven't really gotten into anything that he's released since then (though to be fair, I haven't given them a very fair shot).

Too bad I missed that conversation. Sounds like he's doing alright over there. Yes, the production is very very clean and everything flows so nicely, I'm for sure about it. I'll have to give dark days some attention.
