Default Jpegmafia

Abstract, industrial, bass-heavy, glitchy, and punky producer/rapper Peggy is Jpegmafia. His production is straight up bananas and really its own beast despite having a clear Death Grips influence on its sleeve. Lyrically, I think that Jpegmafia is trying to emulate social media in how he's hyper-political, slightly nonsensical, entirely contradictory, full of memes, occasionally crazy insightful, over the top, heated, and accusatory. That could just be a way to get buzz, but that's honestly making the same statement in the long run.

He recently dropped Veteran which is deservedly getting a bit of hype, but my personal favourite of his is the EP that he did with Freaky (also very dope) 2nd Amendment.

Spoiler for Darkskin Manson:

I figured you would like Real Nega because of the OQB sample.

His best track is Trussmidaddi imo. The beat on that is some straight crooked cold fire.

Also was cool that he gave Girl Pusher a shout on Baby I'm Bleeding.

I have been checking these guys out, cause Frownland has recommended them. Really liking what I've heard so far. Will eventually get to checking out albums.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.
