DOOM is certainly great but he's gotten too comfortable. I give El-P the edge because he challenges himself as an artist and does so successfully.

It's arguable if RZA has produced the better albums. Two or three are top notch but not all of them are. Two or three = matched by RTJ now add all the others and solo albums and El-P has the much better discography.

KRS One

Started in the B-Boy era and has contributed era relevant quality material for the past 30 years.
He blows away all of the others.
There are several hipster pretenders but none of them can touch KRS.
The streets still acknowledge and feel him in ways that some of the cats mentioned on this thread have never known.
Check out "The World Is Mind."

My 30+ years maintaining GOAT flow award goes to
Kool G Rap.
Return of the Don is an amazing album.
Still nobody tells a better story than Kool G.

You really have to give Tech N9ne credit for being able to borrow from so many different genres and make them sound redundant by doing the same **** he's done on every song.

I think if Tech were to actually sit down and try to focus on creating a more well thought out project with only 12-15 songs rather than try to rush out two 23 track albums with 5 bonus songs each year he wouldn't get so bland.
tech has some alright tracks and i credit him into getting me into a different style of hip-hop but he's just never been able to hold it together for more than 2 or 3 tracks on an album. that's not to say he doesn't have some tunes cause he does. his post 2010 output is especially bad though.
