I'll do the same:

I disagree.

My pick for an artist best suited for features is actually just Madlib's alter ego Quasimoto. Even though I really like The Unseen and The Further Adventures Of Lord Quas, I think he's easier to listen to when he pops in for the occasional appearance on Madlib collab projects like he does on Madvillainy with Madvillain, and The Champion Sound with Jaylib. I just think his vocal effect that he uses for the character can be a little annoying for a full album.

lolwut?

A better analogy would be: Player X might be good enough to start a game, but I think he’s best used coming on as a substitute when the opposition is tired.

ghostface is good on his own but being a part of wu-tang is where he's at his best

not sure how that's confusing

LOL

That's the worst analogy yet.

i'll put it in as few words as possible.

ghostface is great on his own but he is better as a featured artist in wu-tang.

i think we moved past the analogies with this anyway. not much more to say than we agree to disagree.

Maajo 12-02-2017 09:02 PM

I'm just ribbing, but yeah agree to disagree, I don't think it'll get much further than that.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 12-02-2017 09:04 PM

nicki minaj because i don't like any of her solo stuff but her verse on monster was cool

most of if not all of Wu-Tang tbh. i love RZA, GZA, Inspectah Deck and Ghostface but man are they a billion times better on features.

^ No.

The point is what Ghostface does, not the overall song quality. So is he better jumping in on a track or having a full song to himself. The team/LeBron analogy focuses on the song rather than what the individual player brings.

We agree anyway, so let's also agree that Method Man and ODB are by far the best Wu-Tang members?

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 12-04-2017 01:58 PM

damn meth is definitely up there, and as far as memorable verses ODB ranks pretty high too...

i don't necessarily agree but i don't disagree enough to say you're wrong.

opinion respected.
