I agree to a certain extent, I think it's innovative. I like how he tries to push the envelope, not caring about the backlash. I respect it, even though I don't really mess with his music. But Hip-Hop itself was already like punk, for the simple fact it wasn't what people deemed to be "conventional". I feel like it got commercialized and now everyone has there set idea of what Hip-Hop is, when in all reality it's just going with the flow over a beat. Whether you're vibing out not really saying anything, telling a story, what ever the person holding the mic decides they want to do.
