Default Where to find new "undiscovered" rap/hip hop

I want to know where y'all usually go to find these new undiscovered artists. YouTube would be a good start, but I don't know what to type in the search. I guess rappers and go down the list?

I honestly found most undiscovered artists from juggalos. Believe it or not, a lot of underground and more obscure rappers usually get some kind of following from juggalos simply for not being mainstream.

I can spare you from having to interact with juggalos if you want to avoid that and give a few artists. And through them you will usually find more in Youtube suggestions.

Sadistik, he's like a dark poetic back packer over ambient beats.

Ho99o9, they are a horror industrial punk rap group.

XXXTentacion, he's like an emo trap rapper.

$uicideboy$, they are a dark trap group.

Mr. Mutha****in eXquire, he's just a dope rapper. Some where between trap and back pack rap. Like, he does both styles and fits in both areas.

And Buttress, she's a weird rapper back packer on drugs.

I really don't know what style you're looking for though.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

I would say last.fm is your best bet. Start with an artist with little listeners and then listen to similar artists. If you don't have an obscure rapper to use as a base go to soundcloud/band camp and search by tags. You'll have to sift through a lot of stuff you don't really care for before you find stuff you like.

What rappers are you into?

Thanks for the advice.

Well I like Kendrick, NWA, old school Dre, Ice Cube, UGK, Pimp C
Lil Flip (not so much now, but liked him back in the day)

Cool

Hey I recently discovered an Australian/Iranian rapper on soundcloud. He's very much undiscovered but very talented.

His name is Most. Frank

His best song is "my chain of thoughts"

Let me know what you think of him.

KEXP Song of the Day has some rap occasionally. The selected tracks are good. It's impractical to search by genre, but the curation is decent if you also like slow indie music.

Bandcamp is you best shot for finding good stuff, just search by tags or listent at every damn rapper in the category, sounds impractical but you'll find plenty of **** you'll like in the process.
From the rappers you said you like you sound pretty old school minded, you might dig K.A.A.N.

My personal favourite I found on bandcamp from last couple of hears is Milo.

If you like Milo you may also want to give a shot to Elucid and Billy Woods.
