That **** is immense, and Nas just has this inflection that makes every line sound good. Without the tight, busy flow though he doesn't hold up when he's being lazy, like a lot of the rest of his career. He's definitely overrated, but Illmatic is still Nas at his potential and that's some fine ****. It's really the only essential Nas album though.

Always preferred Stillmatic personally, but both are classics.

Nas has about four albums I'd say are good to very good.

Illmatic, Stillmatic, It Was Written & Life is Good.

Not including the Damian Marley one or the compilation album.

God's Son was decent as well actually, clutching at straws a bit after that though.

Illmatic isn't even like the 2nd best hip-hop album to come from NYC in 90s.

**** these guys, the beats and flow on Illmatic are cited as the best in hip hop for a reason.

****, I mean I get chills listening to this album. Not a whole lot of hip hop does that for me.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

This is most modern trap music. I think trap artists have hypnotic flows and rhyme patterns down better than any other rappers.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.
