Man, I don't even know. Either Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli, or the Cunninlynguists. Whichever one of them.

Bizzy Bone is my favorite rapper. His lyrics may not be the BEST, but I love his style. Theres a new artist from the Bay Area that I love listening to. His name is Omar Kadir. I I bump his mixtape on repeat....actually went to his show a couple weeks back.

I think you can download his mixtape at thirdnaturemusic.com....

Meh, I expect everyone to disagree but in my opinion the best rapper(s) alive right now are;

- The Hilltop Hoods(Suffa and Pressure)
- Bliss 'n' Eso (MC Bliss and MC Eso)
- Lowkey
- Respek B.A
- Stig of the Dump
- The entire Rhyme Asylum group
- Vinnie Paz
- Chali 2na (although his solo debut wasn't what I expected)
- Pez
- Eminem (if you count the stuff he did in his prime and exclude anything after 03)
- Mike Shinoda

That's all I can think of right now.

sarcastic? I'm not sure. Problem with the internet/text conversations is that it's hard to deduce the tone of an individuals comment.

Anyway, Stig is (in his own words) "...a piss head who has a knack for making words rhyme and when the moment strikes, insulting people..."

He won the WRC(world rap championships) and was a finalist in various others. He has an ep called "The homeless Microphonist" and is currently working on his debut LP. One of the tracks on the LP is a track he did with RA the Rugged Man which you can find on youtube. He is known for his outstanding lyricism (multiple syllable rhyming, alliteration, assonance rhyming, metaphors, similies, internal rhymes, imagery etc) and his brilliant punchlines.

Most of his songs are the "bragging" sort but stay clear of all the gangster bull****. He reguarly talks about alcohol and getting drunk and on occasion does more deep topics and current affairs type stuff. His collection of songs are met with an over-confidence and perhaps a little too much self-indulgence for some peoples taste.

"Dragon-heart lyricist, I spit flames,
Turning rappers inside out and locked up in their own rib cage"

"Don't even think about competing with this,
NASA scientists are still trying to prove if I even exist"

"My style of war's the reason for the extinction of the dinosaur"

"Bad to the bone, I love to torture cynics,
I don't waste my time with petty crime I break the laws of physics"

"Burning your damn flesh,
**** mans best friend I got cerberus chained to the wall of my back fence,

"I use telekenisis to spit this **** so catch a live performance and you'll think my rhymes are lip-synced"

all taken from the same song^
