I don't like how he's on the fence between conscious hip hop and pop bangers. I feel like being in the middle ground dilutes his talent for both.

I don't hate him but I don't rank him either.

Peak Lupe like Tetsuo & Youth Lupe is some of the best wordplay in the game.

Hiding Places is still a lot better, but this one took me a minute to come around to. Some of the tracks feel unfinished or end kind of abruptly. The lyricism gives it high replay value though.
