Just gotta put yourself out there. Social media, book shows at small venues, collab with other people on your level. Underground hiphop is everywhere, you just gotta find where it goes down in your area.
Where you from? |

Inland Empire, California.
Not much of a rap scene since the events that do happen primarily happen in Downtown Riverside around Back to the Grind but it does exist. The nearby Los Angeles county has a more prominent rap scene but it's a long drive from here and there. If I lived there I'd have a chance at rap but I have to make due with what I have. |

You're in Cali and in driving distance of LA ffs. There is no better place in the world except maybe NYC for hiphop resources. Sounds to me like your just not doing the work. You either get lucky or you grind it out for years to slowly get recognition (if you're even worth recognizing)...
Look at people like Grieves. |

I would PM Trollheart or Urban Hat€monger. Both of them are really good emcees and we're open to collaboration when I asked them.
