SO Earl just dropped a bomb on us and said next week his album drops. So Let the HYPE begin. He just dropped this track earlier today

At a svelte 29 minutes, it proves to be his best record to date.

i agree that this project is better than Doris (personally i dident like the album) but the one verse i could do without was vince staple

This minimalist approach works like a charm for Sweatshirt. I lost faith in him with Doris, but this is far better and now I happily regain my faith. His voice seems to get deeper with each album, and his sound moodier. Which I find enjoyable.

That plus I love the lo-fi sound his production has it works better for his voice. Not to mention some of the outside influences on Doris didn't work like Sasquatch, Pre, and Guild. I think there's a reason that songs like Hive were so good abd he runs with that.
