I can't get into him. Seems all the current teens are loving him and tyler for god knows what reason. At least they are smart enough to not be satisfied by the garbage on the radio, and go out exploring the underground.

Well I'm sorry but, I just don't think Drake is half as talented as anyone claims he is.
I try not to glorify or over hype any artist/and or group/band that I listen to. Because my opinion is that there's no such thing as any of those producing music that has no flaws to it. Drake's problem, as mentioned by someone already, is his attitude, as well as no originality or much of any creativity either. Some could argue that him going in a studio and recording is creating, and yes it is, however having listened to enough of his music from each record he has available, he just does not produce music that is all that special, forgettable, if anything. I don't recall who here said Drake is their favorite, but I apologize if I sound like Drake is garbage or that I'm taking your opinion of him and stomping it in the mud; he's neither of those things, I just don't see what you see/hear in his music. And this is just my opinion anyway, so isn't like any of it is factual haha. Know who else is pretty overrated/and or cheesy? Pitbull. Good lord, that guy just makes me cringe. |

I'd take Pitbull over Drake any day. At least his music is fun and upbeat for when you're out at a club or some other high energy environment.
I don't either. I was just pointing out how the teenage generation around here that doesn't like the main stream seems to be mainly attracted to those 3 people and the rappers associated with them. |
