Oh, wow.

I can't get through this particular forum...without facepalming.

Are all these people really so socially influenced, socially controlled, that the question of "is rap considered music" becomes a legitimate discussion?

That, to me, sounds just slightly less disturbing a question than this: "are blacks considered people?"

If you answer yes to the second (which I'd hope you would), you better be answering yes to the first.

I think we need to open our minds a bit.

And for those of you thinking I "brought" the race card into this myself; I don't have room to justify that, now. But in this world, everything influences everything else. All I can say.

Your post is racist. Flat out.

Blarobbarg 12-23-2014 09:10 PM

Ignore those posts. They're mostly made my idiots. The vast majority of this forum believes rap is music, and I would say that most of us listen to it. It's just the fools that pop up occasionally.

The "is rap music" thread was intolerably stupid.
The person who made that thread was intolerably stupid.
I agree, but I never felt the need to insult an entire forum over it.

Of course Rap is music, just like 4'33".

Lord Larehip 12-24-2014 09:54 AM

Please lock this thread, it's just a continuation of one that was already locked.
