Rap is for people who cant sing a note. And if you know any history of music. It is one you can hum to or it at least has a melody. Most rap people have a message, some good some bad. Some can actually sing real notes and have a melody to the rap with guitar and other instruments. You can say one thing a lot of people out there are afraid to speak there real feelings because they fear the rap people. Its not music with out a true melody you can hum to.Give me a low E, A,D,G,B,E in a rap song. Most dont have guitar. Its just not music Period. |

Canned crap from rap flunkies who can't sing as they mutter away to a thumping beat - chattering a useless, deviant monologue of prose with an obligatory video of lecherous beauties fastened to the performer, and partying like there's no tomorrow. For them and their careers, there's probably no tomorrow Rap is an asylum for slightly agitated nobodies, getting restless with their limbs and getting intense and rich on a one-sided, egotistical conversation. Since when did a heavily choreographed troupe with a provocative dance routine and a heavily tattooed commentator ever properly illustrate a song? Rap is as bad as lip sync, and, just as dishonest. |

Guap by Big Saun and My Nigga by YG are two examples of rap tunes I like personally. Although I will suggest that a lot of music that some consider to be either Rap or Funk might be more in the middle as being Hip Hop. |

So you don' t like the 808 bass drum, fair enough, but you do realize that most rap music traditionally samples funk and soul rhythms from the 70's to get its beat. So I'm curious to know who your favourite funk artists are? Your argument comes off as somewhat...unpleasant, bye the way. You can't just quote this out of the blue Quote:
and this quote is unf)ckin unforgivable... Really? really really really??? You would rather listen to Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park over Dr Dre & the Wu Tang Clan!?! Uhhg! Nu metal is the perfect example of what happens when a musical genre (heavy metal) lives past its commercial viability. Green Day & Sum 41(Punk) is another, and Soulja boy & Lil Wayne (rap) is yet another. Don't sweat it, all genres of music peak & than decline, so you should go concern yourself with something that really matters. |
